FEB 22, 13 .. A SECOND .. MAGIC MOMENT IN TIME ..

MAGICAL  MOMENT  IN  TIME ..  PURE  MAGIC ..

3:13PM.. TUESDAY THE 4TH OF OCTOBER.. 2011..

This day started out pretty much as any other day here in Calcutta .. I got up about 6AM.. did what I do.. and got to the internet cafe at 10AM sharp.. it is important for me to get a computer and the best way is to be FIRSTEST WITH THE MOSTEST.. A United States Marine Corps saying.. be first (INITIATE do not react.. the USMC does not teach you NOT to run from a fight.. they actually teach you TO RUN TO A FIGHT..)

About 12:30PM.. I wrapped things up and went back to my hotel.. did stuff.. and at 1:30PM I lay down for a nap.. EACH AND EVERY SINGLE NAP I HAVE HAD ON THIS TRIP HAS BEEN STUNNINGLY SUCCESSFUL.. I awoke at 2PM refreshed and ready to go..

One of the stunning DURGA PUJA locations.. see FWIW 32.2 .. is adjacent to a large market mall.. and I wanted to explore this market mall which is quite close to my hotel..

So I ‘relaxed’ my way to the large combination of numerous shops (which is why I sort of liken it to a mall .. but it is NOT LIKE ANY MALL you have ever seen.. all it has in common is a huge number of small shops) ..

I was .. and I have been .. after and looking for some specific items..

BINGO.. after perusing the shops.. the first shop I picked to look at in detail had ‘her’.. Kelly Green and Irish.. perfect absolutely perfect size.. ‘she’ is a Kelly Green plastic bowl that will nicely nest and fit inside of another bowl I have had for perhaps twenty one (21) years.. and I needed a bowl ‘one notch’ smaller..

BINGO.. SAME SHOP was willing to break a set of ten (10) plastic coat hangers.. let me pick the three colors I wanted.. and that satisfied another item I have needed.. an additional three coat hangers..

I wandered.. I ‘RELAXED’ my way around and ..

BINGO.. BINGO.. BINGO.. a shop had (1) peanut butter in a jar and (2) Special ‘K’ Cereal..

AND AT 3:13PM.. in the midst of this gigantic maze of small shops.. with a large plastic shopping bag hanging off my right arm full of my NEW BOBBSEYS and food..

SUDDENLY I WAS OVERWHELMED WITH A FEELING OF TOTAL AND UTTERLY DIVINE SATISFACTION AT WHERE I WAS AND WHO I WAS.. AT THAT INSTANT IN TIME..  THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NO PLACE ELSE ON EARTH THAT I WANTED TO BE..

I said aloud.. “GOD OF ABRAHAM .. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE INDIA.. AT SOME LEVEL I AM HOME ..”

I then ‘RELAXED’ my way back to my hotel.. dropped off the new Bobbseys and the food and went on a forty minute (twenty minutes each way) walk deep into the Muslim section (Alimudden Road) that adjoins the hotel and Mother Teresa’s Mother House.. the walk to Sudder Street.. the Muslim Mosque was broadcasting the sound of afternoon prayers and I LOVE to hear them singing their prayers..

I got to my shop.. the ONE SHOP IN ALL OF CALCUTTA that I know of that sells cup hooks and I need more to use in my room and (1) he was open (many shops were closed because of afternoon religious prayers) and (2) had exactly what I wanted..

And I ‘RELAXED’ my way gently back to my hotel.. ate ten biscuits with peanut butter on them and drank a quart of water.. and went out to Shantidan to visit Mrs Brinnand..

AT SEALDAH Station MY BUS WAS WAITING AND MY BUS WAS ROUGHLY 75% empty.. I had my pick and I chose to sit beside the driver immediately next to the front windshield.. in THE CAT BIRD SEAT..

Mrs Brinnand was ‘on’ this afternoon and we had a good visit..

WHAT A MOMENT..

IT IS A SPIRITUAL TRUTH OF THE UNIVERSE THAT IF YOU HAVE ONE.. YOU CAN HAVE MORE..

THANK YOU.. OH GOD OF ABRAHAM.. FOR THE  PHENOMENAL MOMENT..

It has taken me not quite a full month to finally get rocking and in rhythm.. and it remains totally dangerous.. coming home I nearly got hit twice by motorcycles going the wrong way and I was not looking for them..

Get your head outta the clouds Captain !.. MUCH LOVE.. Cap..

OK now I want to go back to  last Tuesday .. February 19th .. 2013 ..

I was  aboard the Tamil Nadu Express Train heading  South from New Delhi to Chennai.   The train had just stopped briefly at a small station on the Railroad Line named ITARSI JUNCTION.   I had gotten off the Tamil Nadu Express and stretched my legs and was back on the  train which was now easing away from ITARSI JUNCTION to continue South towards Chennai ..

LUCKILY I HAD MADE A NOTE OF THE NAME (ITARSI JUNCTION) AND HAD ACTUALLY WRITTEN IT DOWN .. GO FIGURE !

SUDDENLY .. AT 11:04AM in the late morning  .. last Tuesday the 19th of February 2013 .. as I leaned back into my  seat on the train  (I was sitting against the window so I  could really see outside clearly!) I  looked out the train window to my right at a lovely landscape.  Suddenly I was almost OVERCOME WITH A GREAT RELAXED  FEELING OF WELL BEING AND CALM .. AND I SUDDENLY THOUGHT .. “I AM BACK IN INDIA AGAIN !” ..

For the past few weeks .. beginning February the 6th .. I have been physically IN India.   But  suddenly I felt that  I was BACK IN INDIA  EMOTIONALLY and in PSYCHIC TERMS I felt fully present !  And as I experienced this phenomenal feeling of well being .. I thought back to Calcutta on October 4th, 2011 (see the above Post) and was astounded at having just experienced a similar MAGICAL MOMENT IN TIME !

You will note that back on October 4th, 2011, I had been IN India a few weeks  longer than when this similar feeling descended upon me this trip  !  

Please make no mistake .. just the trip here to India from the United States  is an enormous challenge !  The jet lag alone is a real physical problem .. all the stress of constant travel is enormous for me.  Then suddenly it all lifted .. and I knew .. I KNEW ! .. THAT I WAS BACK IN INDIA !  

Make no mistake .. I feel that the bonding that was being achieved between myself and the ten young Mechanical Engineers who were traveling along with  me .. played a big part in centering me back in India !

The past two evenings .. from 5:30PM to 6:30PM .. I have gone down to the beach here in ‘Pondi’ and just sat down and watched the waves from the Bay of Bengal crash onto the rocks !  Just sitting and relaxing and giving thanks for my many blessings !
