SEP 8, 17 .. A LOW KEY DAY HERE IN EAU CLAIRE, WISCONSIN
We originally planned to stay here in Eau Claire for just one night.
The manager of the Days Inn here in Eau Claire is from India. We have really hit-it-off with him to the point where his wife has served us two dinners of home cooked Indian food! I asked him if he could give us the same Priceline rate on our room as our first night last night and he said.. “Sure.” So we are staying tonight the 8th.
Tomorrow, Saturday the 9th, we are going to Iron Mountain, Michigan, to stay two nights, Saturday and Sunday.
Today we just relaxed in our very nice room here at Days Inn. As I am sure, along with many of you, we are closely following the development of Hurricane Irma heading for Florida.
We went out to explore Eau Claire about 5pm this afternoon.
