OCT 31, 17 .. HALLOWEEN 2017 .. THE EPILOGUE
HALLOWEEN HAS COME AND NOW IT HAS PASSED.
The evening turned out to be a very good one. During the day, the weather was attempting to snow. It never quite made it however. At 5:45pm the temperature was a chilly 44 F with overcast, cloudy and threatening skies. As it turned out the evening was 100% dry with no precipitation.
We had three hundred and sixty eight (368) Trick-or-Treaters. The second highest number of children to visit our door ever.
The maximum number of visitors occurred from 6:15pm to 7:45pm.

302 Children visited us during this time period.
I show you these statistics because I know many of you, maybe all of you, never ever have this many Trick-or-Treaters visit you on your Halloween evenings. Many of you have zero visitors in fact. In Anchorage we never have visitors on Halloween.
Below are a few photos of our Halloween evening.
We put the candy into small cups. This way we can keep a very accurate count of our visitors simply by counting the empty cups. Yes we have a lot of cups that we save and re-use each Halloween.

At this stage of our lives, we never know when or if we will have another evening such as we just experienced. Our last Halloween was in 2014, three years ago.
It was one great evening. Truly we are blessed.
