DEC 31, 18 .. NEW YEARS EVE DAY 2018 .. KRASNOYARSK, RUSSIAN SIBERIA
I can’t call today New Years Eve Day 2019 can I? It’s not yet 2019.
A look out the window of my apartment here in Krasnoyarsk in the early morning dawn of New Year’s Day 2019.
I like the view. That is a good thing, to like one’s view, be it out an actual window, or be it a philosophical window out on one’s life. This visit to Russian Siberia has gone worlds past any expectations I had during the years I was wishing for, and attempting to get here for, a prolonged visit.
Mike and I arrived here in the darkness of a cold winter morning after an 11-1/2 hour train ride. I’ve put up a post on blogspot about the train trip up to Krasnoyarsk from Abakan :

Even though you do sleep on a train, and on an aircraft for that matter, it does not seem to be a restful and fulfilling sleep. So we arrived tired out. And yes, I do speak for Mike also. We were met on the train by our host(s) and taken to our apartment where we got signed in and paid-in-full for two weeks. 30,000 Russian Rubles or U.S. $447.46 (or U.S. $31.98 per day). Not a bad deal considering our place here. I’m not quite ready to show photos of our apartment.

Then out and off at 7 pm we went to a 7:30pm meeting.
So?
I am tired and I need to lay down and get some more sleep.

Sweet early morning, still in the dark, photos from your room. It is no wonder you are feeling tired .. an all-night train ride, getting settled in and paid up for your room, taking pictures from inside your windows and outside of the building, going to and speaking at a meeting, and putting up posts which I KNOW takes time and energy. Whew. I don’t know how you do it! After a day of practice, I think I am getting the pronunciation of Krasnoyarsk! With admiration and love .. Patti
You’ve got it huh? Kras has NO yarsk. Krasnoyarsk it is. Oh yes I am indeed tired out. So I just slept for a full hour and will now get a noon time bite to eat here on New Year’s Day 2019 in Russian Siberia and .. Here on New Year’s Day 2019 in the Eastern United States. New Year’s Day 2019 is coming soon to you in Alaska My Dear One. I myself and not quite sure how I am doing all that I am doing but .. I’ll take it and .. I’ll take it with SPADES.
