JAN 4, 19 .. BREAKING .. BIG NEWS .. NOVOSIBIRSK, RUSSIAN SIBERIA, HERE WE COME.
Whew Oh God of Abraham!
I strongly felt that my coming to Irkutsk, Russian Siberia, was your will for me. As Patti knows without a doubt, I was obsessed, I was ‘driven’ to get to Irkutsk. That is for sure! I even said to Patti, “IF I drop dead the minute my flight lands in Irkutsk I will at least have gotten back to Russian Siberia.
Then, in fairly short order, once my feet-were-on-the-ground in Irkutsk, we came Kyzyl, then we proceded to Abakan, then we came here to Krasnoyarsk!
“Oh God of Abraham! I like the name Novosibirsk! It pronounces very cleanly.”
“Novo si bir sk.”
Novosibirsk.
НОВОСИБИРСК.
Novosibirsk, Russian Siberia, is the largest city in Siberia. It lies to the West of Krasnoyarsk.
Novosibirsk, after Moscow and St. Petersburg, is the THIRD LARGEST CITY in the Russian Federation.
And?
Mike and I have been invited, to come to :
НОВОСИБИРСК ( NOVOSIBIRSK ).
The wheels-are-now instantly in motion!
Mike and I will board the Trans-Siberian Express Train here in Krasnoyarsk at 10:57am on Monday the 14th of January heading to Novosibirsk. The trip will be a 12 hour trip, mostly in the daylight, and we will be met in Novosibirsk at 11:16pm Monday the 14th of January. We now plan to remain in Novosibirsk for two full weeks.
Whew! Patti is going to tip-over IF I don’t forewarn her. So I will now call Patti.

So, if you’re there for two full weeks, that means Patti won’t be joining you until February? Enjoy your time in Siberia, Cap.
It looks like Patti and I will hook up in Moscow. Yes, probably early February. I am ten levels above simply enjoying my time here. It’s like all of my life has prepared me for this. Not the least of which is having lived up in the Interior and knowing from first hand actual experience what 60 degrees below zero and other lesser cold weather is like I’ve no cold issues here. I’m getting cold but so too have I been cold up in the Interior. The cold is no big deal. It IS what it IS. Be careful but you’ll live through it. Smiles .. Cap
