JAN 29, 19 (Part 2 of 2) .. OUT OF TAYSHET.. ON TO IRKUTSK RUSSIAN SIBERIA
CAP IS BACK IN THE APARTMENT IN IRKUTSK, SAFE, SOUND, HAPPY TO BE ‘HOME’!!!

Cap and Mike left Tayshet aboard the Trans-Siberian Railway once again, promptly at 9:05 am their time. They were at the railway station early, a short walk from their hotel. Mike had arranged for Cap to have help with his luggage and the railway powers that be interpreted this to mean Cap needed transit help himself to the train. He did not fight it! They took him in a wheelchair and DROVE him to the train platform so that there were NO stairs involved this time at all. In their compartment, they discovered two other people already settled into the 4-person compartment. Fortunately, they had settled into the upper bunks, much to the relief of Cap and Mike! Once underway, Cap felt the best thing he could do would be to take a nap, which he took, followed by a meal of food and liquid he had brought along. He has now settled down for another nap. He is looking forward to getting back to his apartment in Irkutsk at the end of this 11 1/2 hour trip.
