FEB 20, 19 .. WHEN PATTI AND I SEE AN ELEPHANT FLY

This one thing I will say for myself (as I tell one of the Committees inside of my mind to ‘just shut up’) :

Because I myself have absolutely no idea whatsoever as to what-is-coming-next so far as these posts here on dot.net go, YOU the Faithful, and YOU The Few, who follow along here have absolutely no idea whatsoever as to what-is-coming-next. How could you when I the author don’t know?

When I was a child back in 1941, Walt Disney Productions released an animated movie titled : Dumbo.

Along with millions of other children and adults, I loved Dumbo. There was a song in the movie titled : When I See An Elephant Fly. In the movie the song was sung by a group of crows. The lyrics go as follow:

I saw a peanut stand, heard a rubber band
And seen a needle wink its eye
But I be done seen about everything
When I see an elephant fly

I’ve seen a front porch swing, heard a diamond ring
I’ve seen a polka dot railroad tie

Up to our ‘super economy Priceline room’ we trot.

“Not too shabby huh Patti?”

Ladies and Gentlemen .. Sports Fans everywhere .. We are getting very close ..

When I see an elephant fly

As we two were getting settled into our room, I asked Patti if she would come into the ‘necessary room’ and sit on the ‘sitter’ for just a minute. As soon as she sat, she just howled with delight.

IF you are extremely vigilant as to details, in the next two photos below, you may very well notice where I am going with this.

In the above two photos, look to the left side of the ‘sitter’. Do any of you notice anything? How about now as you look at the next two photos below.

The ‘sitter’ actually has a ‘control panel’ that operates it.

Now we done seen ’bout everything!!

For the very first time in our lives, we have a ‘sitter’ in the ‘necessary room’ that has a control panel to operate it!!

It has a heated seat with three levels of temperature control so that you can choose the ‘heat of your seat’ to suit you.

It also has several ‘water washing’ nozzle settings so you can (like most of the rest of the world do) wash yourself when you’ve ‘sat’.

And?

The ‘sitter’ even has a fan, operated by its control panel, to dry you off after you’ve been washed.

“‘Yes Gullible?”

“Cap, if you and Patti weren’t so set upon Motel ‘6’ and the likes thereof, and you weren’t sleeping in Gers and Tents, if you two would emerge from beneath the rock where you are living your lives, then this ‘enlightenment’ would be routine!”
