I have not gone back and checked my recent Posts but I think that I have mentioned that this interview was forthcoming. It has been on my calendar for about one week. So just in case some of you were aware of it, I thought I’d give a very brief synopsis  of today’s event.

The interview was conducted right on schedule. Two venues were under consideration. One outside and one inside (only if the weather was an issue). Rain had been predicted and rain occurred, so the interview was inside at the local Alano Club here in Irkutsk.

For me this was my number one choice. Having the cameras and a T.V. team doing this outdoors (at least for me) seems awkward. You have street noise and curious passers-by stopping to see what was happening. So all’s well that we were indoors.

I’ve done several of these over the past 10 months so I knew what to expect. Look directly at the interviewer and not at the cameras and not at my translator to whom I am really speaking. So I am looking into the eyes of my interviewer who is speaking Russian and replying to her even though the person speaking English was off to her right slightly in the background out of range of the two T.V. cameras.

Lights / Camera / Action. It felt good and it felt like all went well. I had Patti speak with the team before we began and after we finished. It took a little over one full hour and the time flew past. I am not going to go into any specific details of what we spoke about except to say that it pertained to alcoholism.

Now I have to gear-up to go to Baykalsk day-after-tomorrow to participate in a three day Convention there.

Next Tuesday off to Vladivostok (the lower red balloon in the map below).

Glad the interview went well and that it ended up being inside, away from street noise and people curious about what was going on. I am also VERY glad that you have this one day between this interview and your departure for three days in Baykalsk. You keep quite the schedule my dear one! Smiles and hugs. Patti

Thanks for your ongoing support My Dear One. It was fun to ‘have you with us’ this afternoon. You could accurately picture (because you know the room from having been in it several times ) how we were set up. Oh yes! I needed a day between this and Baykalsk on Friday. Much Love .. Cap
