JUN 4, 20 .. PATTI IS FEELING BASICALLY OK TODAY AFTER HER ‘FALL’ YESTERDAY ..
Short, and to-the-point. Patti is doing, all-in-all, very well after her ‘fall’ last night in our kitchen. In case you have not seen yesterday’s Post, the below link will take you to it.
No black-and-blue bruises on her back where she slammed into our kitchen spice cabinet and her right ankle is a little ‘tender’ but it is doing pretty well.
This event really has us pondering how lucky she was not to have fallen to the hard floor risking much more serious injuries especially to her head.

Great news. I will pass it along to folks in MI.
THANK YOU TOM. The issue is we did not learn one thing. Patti was just standing and fell backwards. Again thanks Tom for your support. Cap and Patti
Good to hear she’s feeling better. However, if she was wearing those Birkenstocks when she fell (as she was several times before), you need to make them disappear.
Here’s an article for safe footwear:

We can’t blame footwear on this one. Patti was just standing. Then fell backwards. She was not even moving her feet. Puzzling. Cap
If she was wearing the Birkenstock’s, she was a off balance when compared to wearing regular shoes. Her center of gravity was thrown backwards..
She was not wearing Birkenstock’s. She was basically just standing still. So what exactly threw her center of gravity backwards? We’ve learned nothing here except perhaps that the elderly population experiences the phenomenon of falling with sometimes fatal results. I don’t know how else to explain the inexplicable. Yes, of course, we all ‘want a reason’ to many things yet some have no rational reason or so it seems. Cap
