OCT 6, 20 .. FOR WHAT IT’S WORTH
My shoulder : I was able to make an appointment yesterday to see an Orthopedic Doctor next Monday the 12th of October. I tried to make an appointment with my long time Ortopedic Doctor but the earliest I could get in to see him (his office would not give me a firm appointment date and time saying it) would be from two to three weeks out. So I am going to go with the new Doctor I can see next Monday. In a few hours (I mean literally this very morning) I also have a virtual zoom appointment with my General Practitioner.
Last night we got a real upper. One of our very best friends in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, contacted us via WhatsApp. So we telephoned him back and had a great visit. Having broken-the-ice with this one of our long distance friends, we then telephoned another best-of-friends in Hong Kong and had another great visit. I really miss being able to make firm plans to return to Asia. Time and life is running its course and none of us know how long we have.
