DEC 13, 21 .. TO FEEL GOOD .. DO GOOD ..
In yesterday’s Post, DEC 12, 21, we showed three photos of our friend Tom, Patti and myself outside of a Sam’s Club where Tom is a volunteer Bell Ringer this holiday season.
We can’t be sure of this, but we’ll bet probably 99% (if not 100%) of those following us do NOT go back to previous Posts to see what (IF any) comments have been left on any given Post. So we are posting Tom’s comment to yesterday’s Post below ..
Thank you both for helping out! I have great fun each Christmas doing a few hours for Salvation Army. Last week a boy about 5 or 6 yrs old put a dollar into the kettle that his grandma gave him. He asked grandma “What’s this about?” When told the dollars went to help the very poor, he reached in his kid size wallet, pulled out his whole roll, which was a single $5.00 bill and dropped it in the kettle. His grandma and I were speechless. I’ll never forget that young man. God Bless and Merry Christmas to all! Tom
In our reply to his comment we told Tom that we were very touched by his above story about the young man.
