I just learned that a friend, one of my best of friends, who dates back about 80 years to our pre-Kindergarten days, suddenly passed away. I just published some thoughts about his sudden passing in a blogspot post. IF you care to read it, please click onto the below link..

      How nice, as in HOW VERY VERY nice of you Claudia and Jim to post your comment. This sudden loss of Bob has brought up feelings I am at a lost to explain. My one insight is : Survivor Guilt. Bob is gone and Ed is in very poor condition, in a full time nursing care environment, and he doesn’t know those around him. Here I am, up and running wondering why I have gotten to my point in life and not them. Until his passing, Bob himself was LIVING LIFE TO THE FULLEST. Then in a (literal) instant he is gone from this life forever. Whew ! Cap
