We are really enjoying our stay here in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. Our bodies are adjusting to the weather and, at an ambient temperature of 50°F, we had our truck heater turned on. Also, we have the heat on in our room as well. There ought to be a law against Alaskans who KNOW the ambient temperature in Anchrage is MUCH lower at 9°F (as I write these words) turning on the heat here in the Desert.
The good news .. We missed the 5.9 earthquake that happened this afternoon Southwest of Anchorage.
Today’s drama .. I lost my truck keys and the new ($25) key retractor with them. Patti and I have looked everywhere in our room and in the truck with NO luck. How can this happen? I lost them and I was not even in the truck. Tomorrow I will ask the front desk if they found them or if they were found and given to them.
