DEC 24, 21 .. FOR WHAT IT’S WORTH

Our Truck has been stolen from in front of our motel room. I got up to use the bathroom and Patti said it was raining. I looked outside to see if it was raining and I saw that our truck was gone !! Someone did find my lost keys and has stolen our truck. Cap at 1:42am Friday December 24th, 2021

I thank each and everyone of you who have texted me hoping that I find the handfull of keys, a $25 key retractor and several carabiners, that I lost here on the motel property. So far absolutely no sign of them. This we know, I had them when we returned to our motel Monday evening. We went absolutely no place, nor did we walk any place, all day Tuesday. At 4:45pm Tuesday afternoon, as we were leaving to go to a meeting, I could not find them. So I am positive that I lost them here on the motel property. We still haven’t found them and I doubt that we ever will.

So again, thanks for all of your kind prayers and heartfelt wishes that we find them. We both really appreciate your caring.

Today is the Day Before Christmas. We hope that everyone following along here has a happy and a joyous and a safe (and friends of Bill) and a sober  Christmas.

    Oh, Cap, Patti,
I’m really sorry … and it isn’t the word for it … And it’s just before Christmas … And most likely you have to change lots of locks and what else … I hope the person who did that will understand what is Christmas and everything will work out quite soon.

Thank You Olga for your comment. It means a lot to us to have you following along with us Olga. Time and only time will tell how things work out. We wish you and your loved ones a Merry Christmas Olga. Cap and Patti

Oh, how awful…the person who did this must have the heart of a Grinch.
I’m so, so sorry and I hope you get your truck back quickly and unharmed.
Fingers crossed. Are you able to get a rental for transportation in the meantime? I’ve heard they’re short of vehicles and I suppose the holidays don’t help that situation.

Thanks Linda for your interest and comment. Yes we have arranged for a rental car for the time being. We were able to get one with no problem. That was a blessing. Best Wishes to you and yours for a Merry Christmas Linda. Cap and Patti

Praying for you and we have connections with pals in Lake Havasu/Kingman areas who are Lyft and Uber drivers. THEY in turn have alerted their pals to keep their eyes peeled. I sent a good description of your GMC including faded paint on hood and hope someone spots it. Love and best wishes. Tom
