Sunday, January 23rd

I don’t think that I have ever, in all of my life, seen four consecutive National Football League playoff games as good at the four games played this weekend! The two games yesterday were amazing. Both games were decided by field goals, in the last seconds of the game, as time expired. In the lingo of baseball, they were ‘Walk Off Field Goal’ wins by the Cincinnati Bengals and San Francisco 49ers. 

Today the first game was won by the Los Angeles Rams over the defending Super Bowl Champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a field goal as time expired (another ‘Walk Off Field Goal’ win). The second game was tied at 36 – 36 at the end of regulation time as the Kansas City Chiefs tied the Buffalo Bills with a ‘Walk Off Field Goal’. The Kansas City Chiefs then won the game in overtime.

Next Sunday we will have two games (San Francisco at the Los Angeles Rams and the Cincinnati Bengals at the Kansas City Chiefs).
