FEB 1, 22 .. ON THE GROUND RUNNING .. OUR FIRST FULL MAYO DAY

Monday, January 31st

Up at the (just before actually) crack of dawn. Out of our motel room at 7:35am heading for the Mayo Clinic Phoenix Campus. Arrived and got a parking place (a small miracle in itself) actually pretty close to our building. We then entered the clinic where we were screened by the staff regarding Covid-19 and Omicron symptoms and we were asked to use Mayo Clinic masks (they provided) and not the ones we came into the Hospital wearing.

We were at Patti’s appointment in good time. Great appointment. We went out to our truck and ate our breakfast we brought with us. Then Patti had a blood draw and we both had x-rays of our hip replacement device (the proper name fails me at this moment). Then out and off to a 12 noon meeting followed by a visit to Walmart, Home Depot and Best Buy before dashing back to Mayo for our 2:15pm appointments.

After our medical appointments we enjoyed a pleasant, light lunch in the cafeteria. Then, while still sitting at our table in the cafeteria, I put together and published the post on blogspot. You can see the post if you choose to click onto the below link.

Then we attended a 5:30pm meeting and got back to our motel around 7:30pm.

Tomorrow we do it again at the Mayo Clinic Shea Campus.
