FEB 26, 22 .. FRIENDS .. WHERE WOULD WE BE WITHOUT THEM !!

Gullible ..

Yo ! .. Gullilble ..

Will you just look at what your email this morning started here !

Saturday the 26th of February ..

Patti and I are getting ready to go to an A.A. meeting..

And? Before we leave for our A.A. meeting .. Here we go loop de loop !!

In A.A., and for that matter, in all of the rooms-of-recovery, the magic is simple : We talk to one another from actual experience and not from book or other knowledge or experience.

Blogs .. Websites ..

So when our very good friend Gullible sent me the below email, I responded immediately because only Gullible and others who have Blogs and Websites fully understand the frustrations we all experience (no one is reading my Posts, no one is commenting on them, no one really cares blah blah blah ad nauseam which is referring to something that has been done or repeated so often that it has become annoying or tiresome). And so they become very important friends and associates.

This applies to many other categories also. I have friends who themselves KNOW from actual life experience about depression, and you name it, the list will go on .. ad nauseam.

So we become finely tuned to them and respond to these friends (more or less) immediately when we are able

Gullible wrote in an email to me just now :

You haven’t mentioned your over-whelming fatigue lately.  In fact, it seems you are back to your own energetic self.  Is that true?

I replied as follows :

Yes Jeanne it is. My switch was (more or less) suddenly turned on since coming down here to Arizona. I did not fully realize it at first but now I have come to see that I seem to be (more or less) back to being my old self EXCEPT that I do tire more easily than I used to and I can’t continuously go-go-go all day long. Thanks so very much for asking.

My fatigue :

I will die KNOWING that I contacted Covid-19 during December of 2019 (when it was not even heard about, or known about, here in the United States or, for that matter, the rest of the world outside of Wuhan, China). I had been out of the country for continuously for 14 months (since mid-October of 2018 until mid December of 2019) visiting Mongolia, Russian Siberia, South Korea and China (Hong Kong). When I arrived in South Korea en route home in December of 2019 I was already sick and seeking medical assistance in Seoul. When I landed in Seattle, en route to Anchorage, I visited the Emergency Room at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle on December 11th, 2019.

Read the below Post (if you dare) ..

I passed it along to Patti who ended up in the Mayo Clinic Emergency Room on January 29th of 2020 where she was helped by all that the Mayo Clinic could do (given they did NOT know about Covid-19 either).

So I have felt that my fatigue was long term Covid-19 syndrome fatigue because this fatigue is WAY BEYOND any other (mere) fatigue that I have ever experienced.

And ??

Maybe, just maybe, I have recovered from the Covid-19 syndrome fatigue and, at age 85, I simply can no longer go-go-go and go-go-go some more from early morning to late evening like I used to be able to do.

And ?? Patti is now paying-the-price for this sudden explosion of my energy.

Smiling .. Still Smiling .. Cap and Patti

    Hi Cap, Hi Patti,
Congratulations to you on “maybe” :-) GETTING OUT of post-covid syndrome! All those who have experienced this are not so lucky… Many continue experiencing various negative consequences. Dare to express my opinion… Those who are busy with LIVIVG THEIR LIVES have no time to observe post-covid dirty tricks and just after some procedures to relieve their state having recovered after Covid, START TO LIVE their own life sometimes asking their organism: “How are you?” “It’s OK” – says he – “We only live once!” And loving and respecting each other (mind and body) continue walking their lifeway seeing the bright side of life or polishing the dull. :-) Have a nice time of the day!Love and Hugs. Olga

Thanks so very (as in VERY) much for your comment Olga. Very thoughtful and insightful. We are amazed at all of the things you are picking up Olga. If you can’t see the bright side of life, polish the dull side. Wonderful. Cap and Patti

Yes, poor, poor Aunt Patti! :) We had a hard time keeping up with you when you were leading us around Hong Kong years ago, us in our 30’s and you in your 70’s! Glad you have gotten your energy back and are feeling more like yourself. Love to you both and safe travels tomorrow!

Too, as in TOO funny Eryn. That Hong Kong visit in year 2015 was one great visit. Seven years ago and it seems like yesterday doesn’t it? Wow. Cap
