SEP 6, 22 .. MY 86TH BIRTHDAY WAS LOW KEY AND RELAXED FROM START TO FINISH

This post I promise, will be the short and to the point post that I planned to write yesterday. That post yesterday ended up getting somewhat serious concerning the sadness I was feeling about having the first birthday of my entire life without my childhood friends, Ed and Bob, who passed away this past year.

Patti and I slept in until about 2pm in the afternoon and got out of bed about 3pm.

“Now THAT IS taking things easy!!” signed Crocodile Dundee

During the above hour we answered text message birthday greetings, and listened to and returned calls from our voice mail telephone messages.

After we ate breakfast, we then spent the balance of the afternoon answering birthday comments here on line and via email as well as reading snail mail birthday cards and just kicking on back.

During the late afternoon, I had to, it was not optional, take a full one hour nap because the above activities ended up being pretty intense as a result of the heartfelt love and sincerity of all of the birthday messages and wishes.

Then out and off we went over to Sitka Park.

The day yesterday was phenomenal. Beyond-the-beyond wonderful.

Clouds yesterday on September 5th at Sitka Street Park. I captured them much better yesterday as opposed to Sunday.

The clouds on Sunday, September 4th at Sitka Street Park were not quite as magical.

That is it Sports Fans.

To one, and to all of you, who texted, called and we spoke in person, made voice mail calls, sent snail mail birthday cards, and emailed, both of us,

THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS !!

Cap and Patti
