I think by now you all know that I ‘keep-track-of-my-territory’ pretty closely.  I ask you to take a look at the below two photos taken from my room.  You have seen the general view below several times.  Hint .. just let your eyes wander-up-the-road .. focus on the road.

ARCH 004I got out my walking-shoes and went out to explore my new sight.  “Hello Mister Archway!  You are pretty snazzy!” .. “Thanks Dad!  I think I am!  But then-again .. I am all that I have!”

ARCH 007It seems that the above gentleman is the Prime Minister of the Indian State of Tamil Nadu and he is going to visit Ooty this afternoon.

I just thought maybe you’d be interested in some ‘local-doings’ today.

Here is a new friend for us all.  While I was out on my long walk this morning .. the below chap called out to me .. “Dad!  Take MY photo.  I AM A REAL mini-truck!”  Indeed you are a real mini-truck.

When I’m hot I’m hot .. another seat on the bus today.  I rode part of the way back to my hotel after my very long walk.
