OCT 23, 22 .. OUR PAD THAI ADVENTURES CONTINUE
Before I proceed, just in case you haven’t visited our website recently, you may not know that an amazing phenomenon has just occurred in my life. I appear to finally be free of all long Covid-19 affects.
So I will again repeat what I have posted the past several days..
I AM FEELING ABSOLUTELY,

WONDERFUL !!
Unfortunately, going back to December 2019 when I brought Covid-19 home from Asia, Patti has been FAR MORE ILL than I have been. My symptoms (Brain Fog and Incredible Fatigue) were, more or less, benign. Patti’s not so. Initially Patti experienced 24 hour-a-day coughing (and I mean twenty-fours hours a day). After the May 19th infection, Patti’s coughing and diarrhea continue. Both are bothersome to Patti BUT at least each have indeed gotten a little better. I would not trade symptoms with Patti.

THAI KITCHEN EXPRESS MARKET
We are continuing to explore various Thai Restaurants here in Anchorage to find the Pad Thai we like the best. Yesterday we visited our third local Thai Restaurant, The Thai Kitchen Express Market.
A pleasant venue.
We really enjoyed their Pad Thai. At this writing it is our favorite.
After we served ourselves, I did not photograph our individual servings but trust me, there was much more food than these two photos seem to indicate.
We have a fourth, and a fifth, Thai Restaurant that we plan to explore next so please stay tuned !!

Yesterday (Saturday) afternoon Patti and I received our annual ‘Flu’ shots. We opted for the new Senior Flu Shots. In case you haven’t heard, federal health officials are now recommending a higher dose flu vaccine for people age 65 and older. Known as Fluzone, or Fluzone High-Dose Quadrivalent, studies have shown it triggers a better immune response in older adults than the traditional flu vaccine. We opted for this new Flu vaccine.
However, not to tempt fate, and I want to continue to feel as well as I am feeling, because each of my own four Covid-19 vaccinations have had side affects, I have opted, at this time, NOT to get the third Moderna booster because I am not mentally ready for more vaccine reactions. However, make no mistake, before we head South to Nevada and Arizona and the Mayo Clinic in early December, because we will be flying and in and out of three airline terminals and on and off two airline flights, in mid or late November, we PLAN to get the third Moderna booster shot.
