TODAY’S RHETORICAL QUESTION : Captain do you have a ” Death Wish ?
You must have one or else, why in the world, after being up for over 24-hours beginning last Friday evening and going into late Saturday evening when, after two long flights ( 3 hours and 2 – 1/2 hours ) with all of the ins-and-the-outs involved, you again stay up for almost another 24-hours ?
MY ANSWER :
My time just got away from me.
Yesterday, we just had a busy day. We watched the Los Angeles Chargers vs Las Vegas Raiders football game and yes ! We DID SEE offensive right tackle Foster Sarell, number 73, of the Los Angeles Chargers many times. What am I talking about? IF you will go back to last Saturday’s Post DEC 4, 22 you will see what I am talking about.
Then we went out running. The Dollar Tree, Safeway, Sam’s Club for a lot of things followed by many projects here in our room as we settle down.
BY THE WAY .. A CHANGE IN OUR PLANS : we are staying here at the Edgewater Casino and Resort Hotel two more nights.
We now will head for Phoenix this upcoming Sunday December the 11th and NOT (as originally planned) this Friday the 9th.
Next thing I knew it was 4:30AM Monday (today) morning and time to fall-into-bed and sleep, without awakening, without getting up out of the bed.

Welcome my fellow travelers, Cap and Patti! I’m elated to see you both settling into the scheme of desert living! It is good for our weary ol’ bones and spirit! Lot’s of light….with accompanying warmer temps to come. Of course, most everywhere is warmer than Anchorage as it approaches the winter solstice! lol
Your ongoing mastery of computer skills always amazes me. You are a brilliant thinker right outta da crib yet it takes every last bit of success/failure and determination to become the master of computing principles. And, voila! Just like that you have now become a tech-geek! lol
I’ve often tutored folks that were computer-phoebic and tried to instill a sense of accomplishment by sharing my fundamental philosophy of learning computer principles: a fearless curiousity as to what each/every mouse click does, burning tons of midnight oil on a computer (it’s all about time!), and a more-or-less cavalier attitude that you really can’t destroy or break any computer (though it may require some lengthy restoral! lol).
And, my dear compatriot you have successfully mastered all of these humble experiences. And then some! Congratulations!
I will most probably see you both when you return to Lake Havasu City!

You Michael, have played one ENORMOUS PART in any humble advances that I have made as to being anything even vaguely approaching an Information Technology devotee. We just published a Post DEC 8, 22 in which I compare winter in Anchorage to winter in Laughlin. Smiling at the differences.
