FEB 8, 23 .. LEBRON JAMES BREAKS THE ALL TIME NBA SCORING RECORD

Wednesday, February the 8th

Yes Oh Yes I know, and Yes Oh Yes I fully understand that some of you (many??) don’t have any interest in professional basketball.

It was the evening that was special. Patti and I spent the evening with our friend and ally Michael here in Lake Havasu City totally enjoying one of the grand moments in all of sports. LeBron James, a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, broke the record for most points ever scored by a player, a record that was set thirty eight (38) years ago, a record that many knowledgeable basketball pundits thought would never be broken.

It was just one great evening of fellowshipping, we four together. Patti, Michael and myself make three.

Add “Little Bit” (Michaels sweeet dog) and it was four of us.

Michael (quite an “IT” expert) also solved a very bothersome problem that I’ve been having with my laptop.

At noon Patti and I attended an excellent meeting, one that Michael chaired. I also attended a 7am meeting that Michael chaired.

Tuesday, February the 7th

My 11am Medical ear-issue appointment.

I saw a local family medicine doctor this morning. Unfortunately, being a family medicine Doctor and not an ear/nose/throat specialist, he did not have answers to my ear challenges. Yes he saw the ear drum is covered with dried blood so he could not observe it (nor could the Emergency Room Doctor Monday the 30th of January). To the extent he could, he removed some dried blood from my ear drum. He was pleased and enthusiastic that I have an upcoming appointment with the ear/nose/throat (ENT) clinic at the Mayo Clinic down in Phoenix the 22nd of February.

Very good news! Patti and I both liked him and we have been accepted into his practice beginning with my appointment today and Patti’s appointment March the 22nd.

As to my ear issues, here’s hoping Mayo will have answers.

It was a busy and fruitful and satisfying day. As good as a day can get. 74°F with bright sun and a refreshing breeze with gusts up to 20mph.

Thank you Cap and Patti for the sharing and bonding of we 4! It was indeed a rebel-rousing evening of fun, laughter, google and tech-geek stuff! What an incredible athlete Lebron James is. His accomplishment is beyond imagination. I am tickled pink he is a Laker, of my same hometown and it is further heartwarming that the record he broke was established by Kareem Abdul Jabbar, another L.A. Laker! No doubt this record will be challenged again…..perhaps sometime in the far future. Like 38yrs far! Or more! lol
    Have a Truly Blessed Day!
Love from me and Little Bit!

When Karem Addul Jabbar broke the record and set a new one 38 years ago, he then added (I believe) seven thousand points to establish his new record. It appears that LeBron James himself will now begin, one basket at a time, to add to his new and ever growing points scored record. Michael LeBron’s new record could well be impossible to ever be broken. Yes a great evening. Again thanks so very much for un-doing what I did to myself regarding Lenovo’s computer evaluation and updating “application”. Thanks for the memories. Cap and Patti
