FEB 18, 23 .. TOMORROW WE HEAD SOUTH TO THE MAYO CLINIC IN PHOENIX
In a way the above title : TOMORROW WE HEAD SOUTH TO THE MAYO CLINIC IN PHOENIX “says-it-all” about today.
Today we will be “mentally getting ready” for the four plus hour drive from Lake Havasu City, through Parker and Bouse, onto Interstate 10 East and into Phoenix. A drive that is very familiar for us.
Today we will be busy “wrapping up some loose ends” here in our apartment as we begin preparing for the 11 day (or longer) trip tomorrow. I say 11 day (or longer) trip because, right now, our first day of appointments at the Mayo Clinic Phoenix, is next Tuesday the 21st and right now our last appointment will be on Tuesday the 28th and right now we are planning to return to Lake Havasu City on Wednesday March 1st. That makes an 11 day trip.
Long (the pregnant) pause.
For those (few of you) who don’t love Google you are missing a lot.
I just Googled it : Pregnant Pause (plural pregnant pauses) A pause that gives the impression that it will be followed by something significant.
Is the below synopsis (a brief summary or general survey of something) significant?
These Mayo Clinic medical appointments can sometimes generate an entire series of follow up appointments because your first doctor may feel you need to see a specialist for further evaluation.

Both Patti and I have important appointments.
Patti has two follow up appointments (dating back to severe coughing to issues several years ago) one on the 21st at 3:30pm and the second on the 22nd at 12:45pm.
My turn.
First, I have a 9:45am appointment Wednesday the 22nd with an Ear/Nose/Throat Doctor concerning my ear issues that “date-back” to Saturday night January 28th / Sunday morning January 29th, my Emergency Room visit January 30th, and appointment with my local Doctor February 7th. That appointment could generate a follow up.
Second, following blood tests on Tuesday the 21st, I have a 3pm physical exam Wednesday the 22nd with my Mayo Clinic primary care Doctor. That could generate other appointments.
Third, I have a procedure (Fluoroscopic Swallow Function Exam with the Department of Radiology) at 11:30am Thursday the 23rd. To be followed on Tuesday, February 28th at 8:30am for an upper endoscopy procedure. These two procedures could also generate other appointments.

Enough ! YOU, Patti and I are bored with the above synopsis.
The problem is : Several of you really want to “know-what’s-going-on” with the two of us. This is our venue to let those of you who care to know “what’s-going-on” with us.

BTW I texted a very close friend, who looks for a post first-thing-in-the morning, the following : I feel like I need to make you a personal amend because (all of a sudden within the past week) I am hitting a “fatigue wall” in the late evening and I am crashing out into bed unable to get a post up for you to have to read first-thing-in-the-morning. I am without an answer as to what’s going on.
BELIEVE IT : In life, especially as you age, snap-your-fingers, and suddenly something has changed. Some of us go to bed feeling well and the curtain comes down as you peacefully sleep.
