FEB 20, 23 .. WE ARE SAFE AND SOUND IN PHOENIX

I could write several pages about today. I won’t bore you all. When Does It Get Easy would be the theme.

With me at the wheel, we hit the road for Phoenix at exactly 1:30pm. We were through Parker at 2:30pm. We passed through Bouse and were onto I-10 East heading for Phoenix at 3:30pm. I was toast at this point and I let Patti drive the rest of the way. Patti did an amazing job driving and were at our Motel 6 on Bell Road at I-17 at 5:10pm. 3 hours and 40 minutes .. 206 miles .. This is as good as we can do. Patti hit a very difficult section of stop and go traffic as she got into the city of Buckeye on the far West side of Phoenix.

We got checked in and immediately headed for Costco. I spent one hundred and sixty-five dollars and seven cents (I could NOT believe it) at Costco. Back to Motel 6 and the moving into our room process began. We enjoyed a Costco Caesar Salad for dinner at 9:30pm. 

Our Mayo Clinic visit is now upon us.
