Weather? Here in the Southwestern United States?

Four letters say it all : W I N D

We are having some strong winds (averaging 27 miles per hour) with strong gusts up to 35 / 40 miles per hour.

The below photos of the flags in front of the Edgewater Hotel speak for themselves.

The winds come from the South.

Then they turn around and come from the North.

Then back from the South.

NO ! NO ! NO ! We are not, in any way, complaining. Right now there is no other place we two would rather be than right here in Southern Nevada (Laughlin) and Arizona (Lake Havasu City) where it is also windy.

No news is older than “Yesterday’s News”. How many of us go back to yesterday’s newspaper?

Yesterday I published a Post about Pets. About 8 hours after I published the Post, after many of you would have already read the Post, Kit in South Dakota sent me several additional photos of her cat and dog.

Since very few (IF any of you) are going to go back to yesterday “just in case” I added something, because they are really great, I am posting them below.

Samson is the Kitty. Love, the dog, is an Australian Kelpie, one and a half years old. Kit said that the two of them are : A match made in Heaven.

A very nice way to “Sign Off “.

Well good morning from the Black Hills where we are under storm watch for a big snow storm tonight through tomorrow. Thanks for posting Sampson and Love. Can’t believe that I got Love a week ago from the pound. She’s amazing, sweet, smart and everything a dog should be. We’re off to a friend’s ranch today to meet up with Charlie the border collie, so he can show Love his herding skills with his cows. We’ll see if Love is a cow dog.
Have a great day. Hope that wind slows for you.
    Kit
P.S. love that pic of Thor with his horse!

Wow ! We had no idea that Love was so new to your family Kit. Wondering how the predicted big snow storm turned out to be. Today’s Rhetorical Question : Is Love a “cow dog”. Many Smiles .. Cap and Patti

What on this good earth would we do without Google and Wikipedia and (taa-daa) Gullible. A Haboob is a type of intense dust storm carried on an atmospheric gravity current, also known as a weather front. Haboobs occur regularly in dry land area regions throughout the world. Smiling..
