MAY 1, 23 .. MAY 1st .. MAY DAY .. OH HOW THE TIME FLIES BY ..

“May Day” has little or no special meaning for me personally. BUT it sure is a “Marker of Time”. We here in Alaska are now “Coming into to our Summer Season” perhaps the best time of year for Patti and me. I started to write “Perhaps the best time of the year for Alaskans” but our skiing and winter sports enthusiasts would not agree with me that Summer is the best time of year for all Alaskans. However, many would agree with us. The fishermen, many of our tourists who help our economy, you get the picture.

Yesterday .. Sunday April 30th

We both continue to rest up after a very hectic past week. Our process of moving back to Alaska from Arizona after our 5 month visit was exhausting.

However (Howevaah) I just published a Post over on Blogspot, my 6th Post in the past 12 days after having only published 1 Post during the previous 37 days (March 13th to April the 18th). Our “loyal and faithful followers” here on dotnet have had a daily Post for over 7 months. So it feels good to “Revive” Blogspot a little even though any loyal and faithful readers of Blogspot are few and far between.

The below link will take you to .. OUR LAS VEGAS AIRPORT ADVENTURE.

Dotnet has always been my GO-TO, Nitty Gritty, Tell It Like It Is, WebLog (commonly know as a Blog). Blogspot has always been centered primarily on our International Travels but also on our Domestic Travels. At one time, especially when I have been literally living overseas, I posted some (call them) more mundane Posts on Blogspot.

I could go on and on but instead I am going to “Call it a day.”

Patti and I ARE INDEED following the NBA Playoffs and living life one day at a time.

Smiles, Cap and Patti

I can appreciate how much work it has been to make a string of posts and you should be rightly proud.

I am currently working on a complicated journal’s post and hopefully….tomorrow or the next. Along with replacing the belt on my carpet shampooer after a disastrous attempt to clean the almost-white carpet. I removed 18 screws from the machine to get to the belt and had only one left over when I put it all back together.

But I did clean a 12’x4′ strip of carpet and I think it’s going to be fine. I’ll wait until it dries before I go any further.
