MAY 10, 13 .. AGRA CANTT .. SOME OF THIS AND SOME OF THAT ..

I am not quite sure of how-this-all-works BUT .. it seems in the Hotel business the smart managers KNOW to put guests who have been coming to their hotel for years INTO the same room each stay.

Below is MY room .. number 115 .. here in MY hotel in Agra Cantt .. the PAWAN HOTEL.

Then I stack the mattresses as you see below one-on-top of the other .. much more comfortable and I really use the empty bed board as well.

And a shot looking back at the entrance door.  I have a good-old-fashioned California Swamp Cooler for air conditioning.

And I have good ‘room service’ which I use for breakfast.

Here in India .. for over twenty two (22) years .. I have been struggling with the ‘toast issue’.  In India .. they think warm bread carried to you from the kitchen to your plate is ‘toast’.

At home I will take bread .. let it sit-out-on-a-cake-rack for a week or so.  Then I turn the toaster up to heat number 10 .. when the flames begin to come from the toaster .. AH THAT IS TOAST!

Finally when I get them to understand I want dark ‘cripsy’ toast look what I get with my omelette!

One (1) piece IS PERFECT ON ONE SIDE only.  The other piece is your warm-bread-toast.

I mean come-on-guys!  Can’t you toast both sides and toast both pieces of bread?
