MAY 12, 13 .. AGRA CANTT TO NEW DELHI ..
Yesterday I showed you my Room Nr. 115 at the Pawan Hotel in Agra Cantt. You saw it ‘before’ ..
You saw it ‘during’ ..
And I ‘promised myself’ to show it to you ‘leaving’.
I left my room .. I leave all-of-my-rooms .. spic-and-span .. neat-as-a-pin.
Here is a ‘Fast Food’ version of the Indian Railways. You can count-on good-food served-fast very-inexpensively and free-from-disease.
A ‘half VEG sandwich’ and a bottle of water was 38 Rs ($0.76 US).
My post cards said to me .. “OH NO Dad! Please Dad! You are NOT going to put-us-into this are you Dad?” The Postal Street-Drop-Box said to me .. “I am so happy to be of service to you Sir!” In-they-dropped. I had no choice. It is Sunday and I am flying out in a few hours.
The Main New Delhi Post Office in Connaught Place. We shall see what we shall see!
My stomach said to me .. “Oh Wow! Tandoori Chicken at the YMCA!”
I did NOT notice the place mats. What look like dishes are photos in the ‘three-dimensional’ place mats! Sigh! I should have looked at them and removed them.
It looks like my plate is on-top-of-a-cup-of-coffee!
Below is a tender ‘elder man’ that I have patronized for over twenty two years now. I have seen him lose his son .. and he and his grandson run the humble business.
He is busy out-front cleaning up. Seven days-a-week .. Fifty Two weeks-a-year .. he seems to always be in his shop.
Truly a humble and gentle soul. My life is a bit richer because of him.
I CAN’T BELIEVE THAT .. IN A FEW HOURS .. I WILL BE ON THE JET AIRWAYS PLANE BOUND FOR HONG KONG!
So? My friends .. I must run along and tend-to-business.
I got just-a-tad frantic this afternoon looking for an Internet Cafe. Shivam’s computer at the Hotel Capital Residency is out-of-order. My usual Internet Cafe at the YMCA is across Connaught Place. My third option has closed. I was in .. and I was out of .. three Internet Cafes before I finally found this one.
All is well that ends well. This has ended very well.
