AUG 5, 23 .. WHERE TO NOW?

I have known Seattle Greg for some 32 years and counting. We met in New Delhi, India, December 27th, 1990. Patti has known Greg since 1996. In January 1991, it was Greg, who hand carried, to the USA, my very first, hand written, journal pages of my first trip to India beginning in late October 1990. When back in the United States, Greg then mailed it to some of my friends who themselves forwarded it to others. 

Yesterday evening, Greg telephoned us.

“Cap and Patti, yesterday (Thursday the 3rd) I was just walking along, down the sidewalk, enjoying a pleasant day here in Seattle and SUDDENLY I was flying through the air. I could see the pavement in front of me was coming at my face and then my face hit the pavement. A kind passer by stopped to assist me and told me that my eyebrow was bleeding and my glasses were broken and asked me if I needed help. I said that I live nearby and I would be able to walk home OK.”

“Greg did you get a medical evaluation?”

“Yes I did. After I got home, I drove to a local Kaiser Hospital Urgent Care and spent 8 hours getting evaluated. So far everything seems to be OK. I don’t have a concussion BUT this has really shaken me up!”

Greg we understand. Greg we REALLY understand. As you well know, you are not alone with this experience. We will be staying in close touch.

And I was wondering IF yesterday’s Post was going to be the end of this streak of consecutive daily Posts (now in its 11th month) here on dotnet. I actually thought yesterday’s Post would be a great Post to end the streak on. Alcatraz. Who’da thunk.

Wow! Another Post has been written. Thanks to Greg calling us and telling us about his bad fall. THAT got me revved up and going.
