OCT 4, 23 .. AUTUMN LEAVES.. AND VOILA!!.. FROSTBITE FRANK HIMSELF!!
Tuesday, October 3rd, 2023 aka yesterday!
We are “In the midst” of our Autumn Leaves phase of the Fall Season up here in the North.
Suddenly, after a very wet, rainy, gray and overcast BUT nice and cool summer, we have had some nice, sunny days, and the trees are rapidly shedding their leaves.
Down in the Eastern part of the lower 48 states, this happens in mid to late November. Not up here in the far North!
Today was a beautiful day.
Winter IS coming!
This afternoon, Patti and I decided to take a walk to our local Sitka Street Park and enjoy some of our Autumn Leaves.

Because it was 46°F, and just a “tad chilly”, the two of us did not stay too long. But we stayed long enough to savor and enjoy “Late Autumn Leaves” at the park.

The One, The Only..
FROSTBITE FRANK.
Last Saturday, Frank had been visiting us. As he pulled away from our Condo, I snapped two photos of Frank in his Chrysler PT Cruiser. In so doing, I caught some Autumn Leaves in the background of the two below photos.
So I decided to include the above Autumn Leaves photos in this Post.
Now here IS the .. VOILA! SERENDIPITY! MAGIC!
One full month ago, while visiting Frank at his home, we shot some photos of the three of us, Frank, Patti and me. To this point in time, I have not shown any photos of Frank because I did not know how to comfortably “fit Frank into” a Post.
The above photo of Franks Chrysler PT Cruiser became the absolutely perfect avenue to post the below photos!

We are not sure if Evvy will be joining us for Survivor!

Very nice to meet you frostbite Frank, I’ve enjoyed many of your stories through Cap’s website! Love all the Golden leaves of fall! I’ll be tuning into survivor show, I don’t think Evvy is a survivor fan … but she has definitely watched her share of nfl games, lol giggling much love and many hugs !

Howdy, Frostbite Frank! Looking great and alive and well from all appearance! I can’t recall Cap ever detailing how you got the moniker ‘Frostbite’? Judging by the photos can I give you guys the nick ‘Gruesome Threesome?’ lol Just a-funnin’ ya’ll!
Cap and Patti I just love your pictures of the leaves falling and the collage of colors both hanging tenaciously on the limbs, yet, and the mind-blowing carpet of golden leaves on the grounds everywhere you look. I used to rake those bushels of leaves and add them to my mulch pile at the ol’ Wasilla casa! (and then turn over a good ton+of mulch a few x’s a year! lol)
