ANGER
Yesterday (Wednesday, February the 7th) I published a Post about getting really angry (on Tuesday, February the 6th) about an Amazon order that I mistakenly had sent to Anchorage and not here to Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
Then (again yesterday, Wednesday February the 7th) I shared at a local meeting here in Lake Havasu City in some detail about my anger. My sharing my own experience at “Group Level” really put Tuesday’s anger episode “To Rest”. As you might imagine, a lot of those in attendance have had similar (or even more challenging) experiences with self-directed anger. One of our close friends shared in the meeting that he has learned to control his anger one word short of a prison term! Yes all of this adds up to a cathartic experience, one that provides psychological relief through the open expression of strong emotions; causing catharsis.
