I just wrote a comment on Chapter 34 of Gullible’s latest (perhaps the last Chapter??) 2023 Brazil Journals Post and used the term “Comfortably Numb” to describe how she must have felt navigating her trip back to the United States from Brazil. The below link will take you to her Post.

SPAM COMMENTS
Not even I, the so called “Owner” of this website knows “what is going on at all times with my website here”.
Beginning way back on Day One (August the 16th, 2011) of this website, my webmaster Andrej installed a Spam Protection Plugin here on dotnet called Akismet.

Now SPAM I understand. Real SPAM is obvious. OK?
To date, Akismet has intercepted (get this) 187,082 SPAM comments!
What I don’t understand is why Akismet considered the below actual comments to be SPAM.

Spam comments?!!! Absolutely. Trollers, scam artists, sneaky advertisers, identity thieves and their ilk. You can recognize them in an instant. They are unduly praise full of the post, want to be your friend. Ask Andre what happens next.
You yourself have emailed me when you saw similar comments on my blog. Those comments artificially buildup the number of “people”who read your blog,sad to say. I’m pretty sure it’s done by some automatic means, not by an actual person. Andre can explain it. I can’t and don’t know the proper terms.

BINGO Gullible. You and Robert “nailed this”. Robots called “Bots” do things like this on a large scale.
You will notice that while heaping the praise on you, the commenter never, ever cites one specific thing in your post. Not one. The comments are all generic to a fault.
You are ABSOLUTELY CORRECT Gullible !! Not one specific thing is ever mentioned. And some SPAM comments “date back” a year or longer to a Post.
That stuff is excessively effusive. It is thus recognizable in an instant, but so ego stroking .

Stilted English is another clue, but not like in my second comment where spell check changed commenter to comment or.

OMG! I was in another universe and completely spaced out on Patti’s generous gift to share her story from the podium! I feel like a complete dolt! Please forgive me, dear Patti! Now I can ONLY imagine the inspiration you brought to the members of Sun Group! For some inexplicable reason we did not communicate all Saturday and no one clued me in.
