In his comment yesterday, Michael wrote in part : I would like to suggest an overlooked Special Day….for me that is A Special Day to be Grateful to be alive! Amen!

I replied to Michael as follows :  I will check to see if I can find an official gratitude day. It seems I saw one but all of my betting is confined to the Havasu Landing slot machines. So I won’t bet on it. Smiling.. Cap

World Gratitude Day is celebrated on September 21 annually. This day aims to remind us of the importance of expressing gestures of thanks and appreciation. Understandably, sometimes we can get caught up in our busy lives and neglect to show how grateful we are for the people around us.
