AUG 23, 24 .. FIND YOUR INNER NERD!
NATIONAL DAY CALENDAR.. Is the source of all of the information on my “Days”.
Again, as it seems to happen on many days, we ourselves were wondering ‘What is this Day’ all about!
We are curious, but so too are cats, as to why they use a photo of a cat to promote the “Day”. Are cats ‘Nerds’?
FIND YOUR INNER NERD DAY is celebrated on August 23 and it is the brainchild of Your Nerdy Best Friend, Beth Z, who is a speaker, author, and proud nerd.
Finding Your Inner Nerd is all about staying true to yourself and taking joy in whatever makes you happiest. When you’re doing the things you love and like, that’s when Your Inner Nerd is happy.
Nerds get a bad rep for no reason. They just want to do what they love! Find Your Inner Nerd Day is the perfect opportunity for nerds to unite and show the world just how cool their hobbies and interests are, and we love it.
Beth Z, the creator of the holiday, is loads of fun. A lover of national holidays and all things quirky, she takes her role as Your Nerdy Best Friend seriously!
Nerds are cool and Find Your Inner Nerd Day hopes to inspire everyone to share what makes them happy with the world. Whether it’s dressing your pet in cool outfits, or rapping ‘Alphabet Aerobics,’ do it unapologetically!
August 23 was selected as the date to celebrate Find Your Inner Nerd Day every year because it was the date when Christopher Reaves Messina posted the tweet in 2007 that created the modern hashtag.

Find Your Inner Nerd Day Tid-Bits..
Find Your Inner Nerd Day is all about doing things passionately.
Find Your Inner Nerd Day is also a day for those who find technology overwhelming, to learn tech tips, tools, and tricks.
If there is a topic that you are passionate about such as “The Twilight Zone” or stargazing, then that is your inner nerd.
Your inner nerd will be less reluctant to enter the spotlight if there are like-minded people to share it with.
Express your love for pop culture, the oddities, and whatever makes you happy by wearing accessories, sporting them in your look, and posting about it online.
It doesn’t matter how crazy it may sound, if you like it, then you like it.
Kindda Fun.
