I was born in Detroit, Michigan. I was raised, educated and graduated from High School in Royal Oak, Michigan, a Northern Suburb of Detroit. I attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan and Wayne State University in downtown Detroit. I have lived in the City Limits of Detroit. I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps in Detroit.
By birthright I am a sports fan of Detroit athletic teams.

The Detroit Tigers are going to the playoffs for the first time since 2014!
The Tigers clinched an American League Wild Card spot with a win over the Chicago White Sox on Friday night the 27th of September in front of a sold-out crowd of 42,000 fans at Comerica Park.
Detroit has been the hottest team in baseball since Aug. 1, going 34-17 in that time period.

It truly has been fun cheering on our Detroit Tigers 🐯 ⚾️! Very fun watching Tom so excited, texting back and forth with his kids, grandson and many Detroit friends during this past month … let’s go Tigers!

Congratulations on your Tigers making the playoffs. I’m so glad you’re not a white socks fan as they have lost 121 games. My Giants could hit 500 if they win tomorrow. Not been a good year for them. Go Tigers!
Thanks Kathleen for your support of The Tigers. Don’t forget my 31 or so years in San Francisco. Now going way back to September of 1958, I saw the new San Francisco Giants play a game in the old San Francisco Seals Stadium! I was a young member of the Marine Corps, passing through on the way into the Pacific and I caught a Giants game! Smiles .. Cap
