OCT 17, 24 .. THANKS GINNY AND TOM..

Without all of the support from all of you who follow us, we could not possibly continue to publish Posts here on dotnet. A picture or two, and Volia! We have a Post.

Moon rise in Laughlin, Nevada.

Tom does a lot of walking out in the desert around their home in Laughlin. He sent us the below photo of his new desert friend.

Of course I fired back, “What is it Tom and Ginny?”

Tom’s daughter Katie (who is a veterinarian) had told Tom that it is an American Badger.

Fun you guys!

Where Oh Where Would We Be Without Google!

Ginny found one on Wikipedia.

Kind of handsome Tom and Ginny.

Sad. Frustrating. Words fail us. Patti and I had eagerly looked forward to yesterday’s major league baseball playoff game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the New York Mets back in New York City. We had successfully watched games one and two on the FOX Television Network. Yesterday the game was on FOX Sports FX1 and we do not pay extra money to get FX1. So we were not able to watch a game we two were eagerly (and I mean EAGERLY) awaiting.

The same thing is happening with the National Football League games.

However, we successfully watched Survivor last night.

We are grateful to CBS for showing Survivor on its network feed.

Over And Out again thanking Tom and Ginny for your contributions.

Wow, the Laughlin photos are beautiful of the desert moon. Thanks for sharing Ginny and Tom. Not sure I’d be taking photos of a badger! Cute, but scary little guys. We had one living in the barn a few years back in Belle Fourche. Going up the long driveway at night she’d turn and hiss and snarl at the big F250 we were in. Those critters are brave!
    Enjoy your day.

We agree with your opinion about Badgers Kit. We would not want to challenge one, especially the one who hissed and snarled at your Big F250 Ford! Thanks for your support Kit. Cap and Patti

Hello all ,Tom here!I had. NO idea I had badger neighbor,a very long shot to see him.I was among the vegetation,in what we laughingly call our ‘back yard’+I happened to see a movement, out of the corner of my eye.I guessed it was a rabbit,or 1 of the chipmunk-praire dog (these resemble both, but I never got a picture-they move FAST when you step near them).Anyhow,I took a step to see into the burrow, and the badger put his head out +looked me in the eye.I took a couple pics, which Ginny was able to enlarge. He was in no way intimidated by me.Glad I met him,and I respect any creature that can live in the harsh climate here.My veterinarian daughter sent me some info,I thought “won’t the local coyotes eat the badger”- but the coyotes don’t mess around with them, the badgers are that fierce
