DEC 31, 24.. NEW YEAR’S EVE 2024..

Because of the two New Year’s Eve Posts we published below, we are not “Celebrating New Year’s Eve again here on dotnet”.

I have been visiting a terminally ill friend here in our local hospital. The below very poignant and touching sign was posted beside the elevators call buttons.

Whew huh? Reading it “took my breath away”!

Visiting my terminally ill friend makes me very thankful that we are in as good health as we are. Neither Patti or I have been told that we ARE terminally ill and do we want hospice care or interim nursing home care.

Yes Oh Yes. Both Patti and I continue to struggle with RSV pneumonia and acute bronchitis but we are not (yet at least) dying.

For RSV, the CDC has advised that emergency department visits and hospitalizations are increasing among children and hospitalizations are increasing among older adults.

Arizona is listed as one of the states with “high” activity.

On the “Bright Side”..

Tomorrow we welcome year 2025 and hope and pray it is a pleasant year for all of us.

Cap and Patti

YOUR two loving GIF Bunnies..

See? We may still be experiencing our health challenges BUT we are NOT down and out.

Perspective! When I see someone in worse shape than me, it spurs me to be grateful for what I have. If I spend too much time focusing on what I don’t have, I won’t get to enjoy what I do have. Some days, I have to put more effort into finding it and some days the list seems endless. Perspective!

Right on Kathleen. I will use your comment in a Post. Thanks so very much for great insight.

IF there is “another side to Perspective” it would be this. Serious health issues can seriously effect our effectiveness in seeing the “bright side” of things. Cap and Patti
