WAY BACK!! On August the 16th 2011, with Andrej my trusted webmaster, I published my very first ever Post here on DotNet.
The entire purpose of DotNet, back in August of 2011, was to share my International Travels, here on line, with friends who were interested in reading about, and looking at photos of, people and places they might never see nor visit in their lifetime.
Sigh.. Long Sigh..
Because our extensive International Traveling is now seemingly a “thing of our past”, the entire point of our website DotNet at this stage of our lives has changed.
The purpose of DotNet now is to share with you, our followers, some of our own “personal lessons and challenges” in the hope that they may assist someone viewing DotNet if they run up against the same challenges.
I received my first ever United States Passport in June of 1974 when I was going to work in Frankfurt, West Germany, for three years. Since then I have renewed my 10 year duration Passports five times. Once back in June of 2015, while I was physically living in Hong Kong, China.
So?
I do know about the “Passport Process”.

You are now well aware of what has happened as I have been attempting to renew my current Passport.
Immediately below is an extremely short update to yesterdays “Mini Tome”.

Short update:
I have now 100% totally and cleanly resolved my “two disputes”. The process is underway to refund both my $279 and $67 charges. Both firms were quite willing to “work with me” concerning the refunds. After all, I did not get what I had paid for.

WAS IT ALL A SCAM?
NO !! There was no scam involved here.
First it was me who went online using Google Search “Renew a Passport”. I did this of my own free will. No person nor agency contacted me. This alone rules out any Scam!
A “Scammer” makes the first approach. No one approached me. It was I who clicked onto (obviously the wrong) website.
PASSPORT RENEWAL..
In MY humble opinion, below IS where to go to renew a Passport.
From start to finish the process was 40 minutes.
NO! I do NOT yet have a new Passport. Yes! It will take some time.

Tuesday, June the 24th.
Fourteen Days (14) after I completed my official renewal process, I actually received, in the mail, my new, good until 17 June 2035 United States Passport!

Yes! Yes indeed! Patti and I watched game 3 of the NBA Championship Finals Series last night. The Indiana Pacers beat the Oklahoma City Thunder 116 – 107. The Pacers now lead the series 2 games to 1.
