On June the 13th, 2025, we published a Post about “Click Baiting” on the Internet and on our Smart Phones.
Click Baiting is a deceptive, online tactic, that uses sensationalized or misleading headlines and thumbnails to entice users to click on a link, often leading to content of dubious value or interest. It exploits curiosity and emotional responses to drive traffic and page views.

“Wow! Big News!? Is Andy Reid, the Head Coach of the Kansas City Chiefs football team retiring?”
It was a complete waste of time to read about Andy Hill retiring !

Patti does far more “Internet Surfing” than do I.
After I your Captain turned on my Smart Phone yesterday afternoon, I went to Google and the below “Very Enticing and Interesting to Me” article popped up!
I turned to my family Internet Surfer Patti and, showing her my Smart Phone image, I said? “Would you “click onto” this Patti?”
Or do you feel that this is Taa Daa .. CLICK BAIT?
Patti who also seemed very interested in the above image replied: “Yes! I would click onto it Cap!”
CLICK BAIT? NO!
So out and off went Patti and me, down a trail to see what we would see!

Yes! Yes Oh Yes! Sure! There is a lot of advertising in the above link BUT Patti and I still enjoyed Farley’s insights.
