SEP 16, 25.. ROCKS and STONES..

NATIONAL TODAY calls them Rocks.. 

Collect Rocks Day is on September 16. 

Personally, I “relate” far more to Stones than to Rocks. So I “Googled Stones”.

Stone / Stones. The hard substance, formed of mineral matter, of which Rocks consist. A Rock or particular piece or kind of Rock, as a boulder or piece of agate. A piece of Rock quarried and worked into a specific size and shape for a particular purpose: building Stone.

Stones are pieces of Rocks.

There are “Pet Rocks” but not too many “Pet Stones”. We have “Memorial Stones” but these are large like Cemetery Grave Stones. Then of course .. Taa Daa .. we have the rock group THE ROLLING STONES who immediately come up IF you “Google Stones”!

Some decades ago, when I was living primarily up in Manley Hot Springs, I used to collect and hand paint messages on small stones.

Then, one day back in early February 2022, while Patti and I were patients at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, Arizona, our lives changed forever when The Mayo Clinic Chaplain gave us three Spiritual Pocket Stones.

This is how and when I became aware of Spiritual Pocket Stones.

Since that time I have purchased hundreds, yes I mean hundreds, of Spiritual Pocket Stones.

Each bag contains 25 Spiritual Pocket Stones.

I give them away “As the Spirit moves me”.

OK. let’s move on to NATIONAL TODAY COLLECTING ROCKS..

Right here, in our very own Condo Building, we have a neighbor who has a Rock or a Stone Collection right outside of our bedroom window!!

ROXABOXEN PARK in Yuma, Arizona, likes the word Rock.
