SMILES.. What’s not to like?
The first Friday of October is World Smile Day (October 3).
According to NATIONAL TODAY.. This is a relatively new holiday.
It was created by a commercial artist Harvey Ball, in 1963. Harvey was a graphic artist and ad man from Worcester, Massachusetts, and it was Harvey who created the smiley face symbol.
This day came about as a response to his creation of the smiley face.
These little yellow faces are more than just a symbol. They are a statement about the power of smiling.
There are over 19 different ways one can smile. Scientists believe that only six are for happiness.

NATIONAL BODY LANGUAGE DAY..
National Body Language Day occurs on the first Friday of October. This year, it falls on October 3.
This day intends to make people realize the power of body language as an important mode of communication.
‘Kinesics’ is the study of the way in which certain body movements and gestures serve as a form of nonverbal communication. The term Kinesics was first used by anthropologist Ray Birdwhistell to interpret body motion communication.
International body language expert Blanca Cobb is the reason we celebrate National Body Language Day.
Contrary to common belief, body language is not reserved for humans. Animals, too, make use of body language to express themselves.
