DEC 23, 25.. FAMILY GENEALOGY.. 2025 WINTER SOLSTICE..

Like I have said repeatedly, we only check out NATIONAL TODAY Holidays that we have actual experience with.

NATIONAL ROOTS DAY is celebrated on December 23..

National Roots Day gives people a chance to delve into, and reflect on, their family’s heritage, history, and ancestry.

Back, way back over 50 years ago, in 1972, while working on a construction project in Fresno, California, a fellow working associate got me interested in genealogy.

He turned out to have been a devout member of  the Mormon Church which is extremely active in family histories so its members can pray for long ago deceased family ancestors.

THE 2025 WINTER SOLSTICE was this past Sunday, December the 21st.

One of our closest friends sent us an amazing writing about the Winter Solstice and God our creator that she found on the internet.
