Patti has seen this “Cap and Parking Places” drama play out countless times over our thirty three years together.

I call the phenomenon “My God of Parking Places!!

Last evening I made a last minute trip to our local Sam’s Club. As is Costco, Sam’s is busy and parking places are few and hard to find.

So into the parking lot I cruised.

There, the closest parking place to the Main Entrance was.. Taa Daa.. “Cap’s Parking place!”.

In the below photo, in the immediate foreground, it’s dark but you can see our GMC Suburban more clearly.

Something IS happening here! What it is ain’t exactly clear!

Cap and Patti

Today, Wednesday the 4th of March 2026, at 6am, Patti and I will head for the Mayo Clinic for a 6:30am check in for Patti’s 8am Endoscopy.

In Part 2 below.. I am going to try (knowing that to try and fail is better than to not try) to post updates to today’s Mayo Clinic visit.

I had some trouble getting Part 2 published here at the Mayo Clinic this early Wednesday morning BUT was finally successful.. Part 2 has been published.
