PURRALYSIS..
If you’ve never had cats, you might not know what PURRALYSIS is.
For some reason, when you have a warm soft cat that melts into your lap, it is really difficult to get up. I frequently suffer from this because I have three that love to lay in my lap.
Right now, I need a drink of water but my 20 lb cat Rocky is so comfortably ensconced on my lap. My bladder is usually the driving force that motivates me to disrupt their happy little naps.

Awww you know I love my kitties. (Love dogs too) Purralysis is a common problem at my house. Even in bed when they are all snuggled up next to me. Or on top of me. They are a frequent source of amusement. They know something is up with all the packing. I was worried about the stress of moving but a friend reminded me of all the stress they went through last year and survived. This doesn’t involve a 90 minute drive to Modesto, living with two dogs, two cats, and a half dozen adults; so moving to the new place here in town should be a piece of cake.

We once had a cat that sat only in my lap, not anyone else’s in the household. But it would only sit just as I was ready to get up!
