SENIOR MOMENTS ..
Translation .. We Seniors tend to have short, if not faulty, memories.
Do all of you know about the two-level sign-in protocol, or two-factor authentication (2FA) process?
A two-level sign-in protocol, or two-factor authentication (2FA), strengthens security by requiring two distinct forms of evidence to access an account: something you know (password) and something you have or are (phone code or biometrics). This method protects against phishing and stolen credentials, as hackers cannot access the account with only the password.
Almost each and every time I sign into an email address, bank accounts, Amazon, to name only a few, I encounter this process.
So? An ongoing SENIOR MOMENT !!
Knowing.. Understanding.. That I ABSOLUTELY MUST have a smart phone beside me, I constantly sit down at our computer and my smart phones are elsewhere!
So I have to go look for one.
Yesterday, BEFORE I went to our computer, I thought,, “Aha! I will take my smart phone with me!”
And I did!!
I will happily celebrate even this small, tiny, victory!!

This is one great NATIONAL TODAY Holiday..
THE MAKE A WISH FOUNDATION..
This national holiday is sponsored by the “Make-A-Wish Foundation”, an organization that focuses on making the wishes of terminally ill children come true.
I offered my services to this incredible Foundation but was not able to connect with it.
WORLD WISH DAY..
World Wish Day is celebrated on April 29 every year.
Not all wishes that are made are or can be granted. But you may be surprised to know that more than half a million wishes have been granted by the foundation since its inception over four decades ago in 1981, and many more would be granted in the years to come.
The Make-A-Wish Foundation was born by the touching story of a young leukemia patient back in 1980. Christopher James Greicius was a seven-year-old, highly spirited boy, battling blood cancer. However, even with his illness, Greicius’ one wish was to be a police officer.
Little did he know that the Arizona Police somehow got whims of his wish and decided to grant it. On April 29, 1980, the little boy’s wish was granted making Chris a police officer and the only person to be bestowed an honorary D.P.S. officer of Arizona!
The smiles and joy that event brought to Greicius were indescribable. The honorable event caught the attention of certain individuals, who decided to form an organization tasked with granting wishes to children, and hence, the birth of the “Make-A-Wish Foundation.”
