This is Part 3, of today’s three Part series of Posts.
Now, maybe, JUST MAYBE, you can see why I made this a series of three Posts.

NBA FINALS 2026
Note that GOOGLE, in recognition of the 2026 NBA Championship Series, has acknowledged the NBA Finals.
Patti and I do not have television because we ‘Paused’ our YouTube T.V. subscription.
Quite frankly, except for CBS Survivor, we just no longer want to spend time watching T.V.
However, Patti and I are very interested in the National Basketball Association (NBA) Playoffs, and we have been “casually” following some of the games on our Smart Phones.
When the NBA Playoffs began, we were rooting for “Our Detroit Pistons”, who finished in First Place in the Eastern Conference. Well “Our” Pistons lost in the second round. Then we began to root for the Los Angeles Lakers (who were swept in the second round in the Western Conference). Then we were rooting for the Oklahoma City Thunder who then lost to the San Antonio Spurs in the 3rd round in the Western Conference.
That left the NBA Championship Series. The New York Knicks vs the San Antonia Spurs.
I have lived in the Austin, Texas. Patti and I have seen the San Antonio Spurs play, live and in person, in their home stadium IN San Antonio.
So you would think we would be rooting for (the favored) Spurs.
In the Eastern Conference, the New York Knicks last won an NBA Championship in (hold on) 1973. The last time the Knicks were finalists was in 1999 when the San Antonio Spurs beat them.
So for the Knicks no championship since 1973. No finals games since 1999, so we are rooting for the New York Knicks. San Antonio has won five NBA championships.

Yesterday, Wednesday, June the 3rd, game 1 of this years NBA Final Championship Series was played.
The Winner (the New York Knicks or the San Antonio Spurs) of the Final Series will be the NBA Champion for 2026.
After three Quarters of play.. The scored was tied !! A very close game.
Then, in the fourth and final quarter of regulation time, “Our” New York Knicks won their (get this) 12th consecutive playoff game !! They are now tied with the San Antonio Spurs for the second longest single-season playoff winning streak in NBA History.
