HEAT ..
There is challenging heat wave down in Arizona and Nevada. A friend down in Lake Havasu City, AZ, where it was 112°F today, asked us about our weather up here in Anchorage.
We texted him the below photo and titled it: Looking out from our living room. 57°F, with a light, misty drizzle..
Several friends who live in Lake Havasu City are now up in Williams, AZ to escape the heat. The High today in Williams was 87°F.

Thanks so very much Kit for asking how Patti’s flowers are doing.
Here are (1 above and 2 below) three photos of Patti’s (Mexican Heather) that is doing just fine.
Guess what Kit?? Mexican Heather doesn’t seem to need, nor want to be, “Deadheaded” and also needs very little watering!

ARGUE..
Now we to go back to our August 18th, 2026 Post about couples where we noted that..
Studies show that about 90% of couples in serious relationships argue. Roughly 30% fight weekly, and only 3% never argue at all.
Patti and I do not argue. It takes two to argue. Do we disagree with one another? Yes from time to time..
Kit also commented on the word argue saying..
Arguing negative? As an attorney I am a trained arguer, and I never related a negative connotation to the process. I suppose it depends which side you are on. (Haha)
It is a well known FACT that attorneys “Argue their cases before Judges and Juries.”
To argue means to express a disagreement in words, or to give reasons and evidence to support or oppose a specific claim or idea.
There is absolutely NOTHING NEGATIVE at all about the word argue!!
Fighting? THAT is a negative situation!!
