When we Googled NATIONAL TODAY Holidays, we found a “No Brainer” for today!!
Patti’s Dad was in the United States Merchant Marines.
He told Patti that he had sailed around the world seven (7) times before he married her mother!!
Then we read the “Fine Print”!!

Yesterday we wrote about me going to the Post Office to mail some letters that I did not take with me!
Today, as I stepped out the door to take some trash to our Dumpster..
I suddenly realized that I did not have the trash with me!!
So back into our Condo I went, picked up the trash, and had a successful trip to our dumpster!!

Successful trip to the dumpster. At least it wasn’t 18 miles, like my trip.
Today, I had a trailer load of limbs and brush to take to the organics dump in Cooper Landing. I decided to take my chainsaw because I often find discarded trees that I can use for firewood.
Six trips back into the house for what I needed because I couldn’t carry it all at one time, then the safety chains, locking hitch pin, and electric connection later….I was worn out. Good thing it’s a long drive over there–farther than the dumpsters. Gave me time to rest up for the unloading part.
It’s understandable you were worn out going back and forth into your house six times! Resting up as you are driving. Ummm! Cap and Patti
