On March the 23rd, 2024, 2 – 1/2 years ago, Patti and I first discovered National Today Holidays.

We have never ever known Sobriety to have been a National Today Holiday!! Or even mentioned as a Topic on hundreds of other days!!

Conclusion: National Today is continuing to expand and enlarge its Topics. This is very positive.

National Sober Day occurs annually on September 14th.

National Sober Day is a vital part of National Recovery Month.

Now this is very positive! Founded in 2019 by ‘Real Aligned Women’, National Sober Day renews commitment to sobriety and marks the start of new journeys.

Real Aligned Women (RAW) is a sisterhood for sobriety that founded National Sober Day in 2019.

Their mission is to empower women in their recovery journeys, offering support, resources, and a community dedicated to living a sober and fulfilling life.

National Sober Day Hero – Bill Wilson (1895-1971), co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous, is widely recognized for his pivotal role in creating the 12-step program that has helped millions recover from alcoholism.
