Yesterday, in Part 2 of our second Post, we mentioned that..
Tuesday the 22nd of September, at 1pm, I will receive my 18th, left eye injection for my Wet Macular Degeneration.
All went well.
Or should I say..
That all went as well as it can go after having 2 needles (one to numb the eye and one that injects the medicine Avastin) inserted into an eye. Eye drops are used to numb the eye prior to the needle that further numbs the eye.
Part of the recovery process is: My eye wants to be totally still and quiet and rest in the dark. This is all well and good BUT one can’t be sleeping all day and all night. There are things to be done such as eating. Prior to the medical appointment and after the appointment we did a lot of running around knowing when we got home we would be staying put!
